A Classic!

I Love reading books over and over, so once I read a good book I have to own it. This book made me laugh, smile, cringe, cry, cheer, and want to read extra fast so I could see what was going to happen next. Very easy reading, great style, can finish it in a day if you have time to focus. I Love this book it is a modern day Catcher in the Rye! Buy it! You will not be sorry!!!

A Must Read for all ages

This is one of those books you can read over and over and it will feel a little different each time. The story is easy to read and flows well - but is absolutely brilliant at the same time. It made me laugh, cry and think. It is one of those books that you will obsess about over and over again and recommend to almost everyone. Can't wait to read it again!

Genuine Voice and Artistic Style

The truly great authors have a gift for telling stories. There are so few that can communicate with artistry and feeling. Walter Lime understands people. He can tap into the way they think, behave and dream. His prose speaks with the kind of genuine honesty that will stimulate any reader to listen carefully to his or her inner desires for living life.
A great deal of this story is rooted with nostalgic youth and delightfully narrated in stream of consciousness. Words are not wasted with meaningless descriptions, but are crafted with interesting care. There are numerous passages that highlight the human condition and celebrate the nuances of day-to-day struggles. Above all, it is filled with optimism and meaningful relationships. It’s not just reading; it’s conversing with your favorite people.
I’ve never had the privilege of reading a novel quite like this. And that’s the way it is with special works like this script. I say “script” because it is more alive than just about anything I’ve read. The characters are vivid actors and the thoughts are characters, all blending as a new kind of literary medium.
There is no precedent for this script. It’s as if this creation rose out of the sea in the form of an undiscovered creature that has no other likeness. I can’t compare it to other literature, but can only point out that it is uniquely a standard of its own. There will only be one rock group like Pink Floyd; one ice cream called Phish Food; one film like The Shawshank Redemption. Lime’s script is on a short list of truly indelible works.
I’ve read this script twice now, but most of all I am amazed that this is a first novel. I really look forward to reading other scripts and ideas from Walter Lime. No matter the topic, I want to listen with interest because his writing has captured my imagination. I want to run harder, live better, and write with this same integrity.
